how to let go of an idea.

in a time, where death and uncertainty are everywhere. it only makes sense to ground yourself in a physical reality you believe in. you and you alone.

these are some of the materials ill be working with .

It’s important to me, that these ideas are connected to something discarded, something collected and something of relevance
I’m using feathers. the ritual I’ll be preforming is likely best preformed with them, I mean I couldn’t imagine anything really else to use
its also important we have some way of communicating the idea to the universe. this time I’m gonna do that with paper, and a pen.

next, I find it best to ground your worry with something physical. Material proof, relating to the problem.

arn’t we all a little worried about paying taxes? i mean. assuming we're all tax payers here.
the material you've collected doesn’t need to so literally equate to all your problems though, i often find the most sentimental materials are often the most innocuous things.
with these paper scraps, I would fold them and scruple them together. then seal them with a measured amount of wax.

this act is more of a metaphor, we're sealing the text within the image. informing its metadata

now most of my example notes are more hastily assembled than our example here. I truly wish to emphasis the personal nature of this ritual, its aestheticvalue comes secondary to its more primary function. making you feel better !
unfortunately, if modern society has taught us anything. its that anything that makes you "feel better" is gonna cost you something!

insert cash or selcet credit card.

yes! thats right, we’re gonna attach something of value here. that, yes, can be cash. money even. but it can also be more.
remember that money is just a simple means of conveying value, and that value is what we're trying to add here. I encourage you to find something, perhaps, more valuable than a coin or note.
I do assume however, that most issues that weigh heaviest require more value. and i honestly find it hard to attach something greater than a coin to these feather.

once youve collected that worry. simply attach it to the feather however best does so. and rest the image for the world to share.

once you have a collection growing, you'll surely know your worries are far behind you
